Marketplace Principles
A fair, transparent acquisition ecosystem engineered for indie hackers and software founders.
Unlike traditional brokers who take 10% to 15% of your transaction, RevMRR charges zero closing fees. You keep 100% of your exit proceeds.
Acquirers can browse, filter, inspect verified financials, and contact founders directly without expensive annual subscription paywalls.
No broker middleman slowing down deal flow. Chat directly with founders, request metrics, exchange LOIs, and conduct due diligence on your terms.
RevMRR has no built-in escrow or payment system. Buyer and seller choose a trusted third-party escrow service together and close the deal through it, on their own terms.
Transparent Comparison

Selling Workflow
From listing your business to receiving funds in your bank account.
From your Founder Dashboard, toggle 'For Sale' on your claimed startup. Specify your asking price, and our engine automatically calculates the revenue multiple.
Interested acquirers discover your listing in the Acquire marketplace and connect with you directly. You control the conversation and negotiations.
Share access, review financials, and agree on purchase terms. Then set up the deal with a third-party escrow service you both trust, so the payment is held safely while the assets change hands.
Once the buyer approves the transfer, the escrow service releases the funds to you. RevMRR takes zero percent commission from your payout.
Safe Closing
Neither side has to trust the other with the money. A third-party escrow service holds the payment until the buyer has received what they paid for.
Buyer and seller agree on the price, the assets included, and the inspection period, and pick a third-party escrow service they both trust.
The buyer sends payment to the escrow service, not to the seller. The escrow service confirms that the funds are secured.
With the funds secured, the seller hands over the domain, source code, hosting, accounts and anything else agreed.
The buyer checks everything during the inspection period and approves it. The escrow service then releases the funds to the seller.
RevMRR has no escrow integration and never holds funds. Buyer and seller choose the escrow service and arrange the transaction with it directly. The service charges its own fee.

RevMRR is not a broker or financial intermediary and never holds funds. Buyers and sellers use a third-party escrow service of their choice: the buyer pays the escrow service, the seller transfers the assets, and the money is released to the seller only after the buyer approves the transfer.
Escrow services charge their own fee, separate from RevMRR, usually based on the deal size. Buyer and seller agree who pays it, or split it. RevMRR adds nothing on top.
No. RevMRR has no escrow integration and doesn't create, manage, or guarantee transactions. Buyer and seller arrange escrow directly with the service they choose and deal with it for payment, transfer and any disputes.
Yes, you can list self-reported businesses. However, listings with the verified revenue badge receive up to 3x more inquiries because buyers value confirmed transaction history.
